Q What do you do?
“My heart tells me I am a social media strategist - I love working with brands to help define what they will look like on social media and how they will see success there.”
My schedule/to-do list looks more like a founder - in meetings all the time, running payroll, admin work, etc. I own two marketing agencies and founded a matcha brand (littlefootmatcha.com) so days are busy with a little bit of everything, but thankfully most of my work is within the social media space for CPG brands.
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
I was lucky to get my start in social media in college. That really brought me to today, 10+ years in social media marketing for brands. From working at a local boutique in college starting their social media and website to working with local businesses then led me to working at a few agencies before starting my own.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
I really focus on the creative as well as the analytics. I typically work with startups and they want to make sure their brand is well represented but still see results and growth. I make sure it's all working.
Q What are you working on right now?
We have a few CPG brands we are running their social media right now, but I recently launched my own brand: Littlefoot Matcha. After so many years of working with CPG brands and a matcha lover it felt right.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
Filming content. I REALLY want to start filming videos everyday but it has been hard to make it a priority. I wake up, make my matcha, and once I sit down I get into the groove of emails and haven't been able to make filming content a priority.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
Be my assistant! I seem to like working with my client's directly (vs having account managers over the years). This means I have a lot on my plate and could use a little bit of help to make sure those email marketing campaigns and blogs actually get posted.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
Startups and CPG Brands - If you need social media (paid and organic) I would love to chat! From strategy to influencers to photoshoots.
Q: What is your rate?
I work hourly or on retainer. Typically my monthly minimum or project budget starts at $1,000. For my agencies monthly social media clients you are typically looking at $2,500 - $15,000 pending deliverables.
