WHAT DO YOU DO?

I help creative change-makers tell and sell their story through beautiful web design plus powerful copy.

WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?

I created a few of my own biz babies and fell in love with web design and writing along the way.

FOR OTHER PEOPLE IN YOUR FIELD, WHAT DO THEY USUALLY LACK?

Gosh, can't really speak for what people lack... I think we're all unique combos of difference experiences, skills and perspectives (slashies!), and it's about finding the slashy that you have the best chemistry with.

For me, I began my career as a therapist so I LOVE really listening to people and teasing out the hidden gems in their brand story. I think my experience creating different biz babies helps me really see things from the biz owners perspective, and really understand both their pain and pleasure points. As a therapist I facilitated personal breakthroughs, and I feel that's what I'm doing with my design and copywriting work as well. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a client in love with their new website and ready to put their heartwork out in the world.

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?

Ooooh all sorts of juicy projects. I just launched 2 websites, one for the Green Artivist, and one for a creative business coach. I'm now creating websites for a Goat Farm, a Pleasure Coach, and a Pastry Chef! Love the range of people I get to work with!

WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?

Ultimately it's about turning the essence of my client's brand into powerful words and beautiful websites. But overall, I'd say my style is clean yet cozy, simple yet stylish. My site, the Green Artivist, and Sophy Dale Coaching are examples of my approach.

WE ARE ALL SLASHIES WITH MULTIPLE SKILLS, WHICH ONE DO YOU WISH YOU COULD DO MORE OFTEN?

I've been a dancer, a therapist, a teacher... I guess I'm just multi-passionate that way! But ultimately it's 2 things that light me up: being creative, and helping people bring their heartwork into the world. I get to do exactly that with my web design and copywriting work.

WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?

Having to do housework, haha. I can really get tunnel-vision with my design work, and would happily do it all night and day. Cleaning feels like such a bore... Can someone hire me a housekeeper, please?

IF YOU COULD HIRE SOMEONE FOR $20/HR, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE THEM DO TO MAKE YOUR DAY EASIER?

Housework!!

LET'S BRING OUT THE TIME MACHINE. WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU COULD HAVE TOLD YOURSELF, WHEN, AND WHY?

I'd have told the heartbroken 19 year old me, dump him, girl, you're so much more than that. I'd have told the broke 29 year old me, you don't need to do another course, you've got everything you'll ever need inside you.

IF YOU COULD TALK TO AN EXPERT TO GAIN MORE INSIGHT ON SOMETHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE ABOUT?

The psyche of a multi-passionate person.

WHAT KIND OF OPPORTUNITIES/PROJECTS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?

Calling all creative change-makers out there! I want to help you bring your magic into the world with a website and copy that actually does you justice.

DESCRIBE YOUR IDEAL JOB/CLIENT/COLLABORATION.

So far all my clients have been amazing to work with, maybe because I appeal to heart-centred biz types. They've been appreciative, open, trusting. Our communication has been warm and efficient. The creative process has felt collaborative and exciting, and we've both been really proud of what we created together.

WHAT IS YOUR HOURLY RATE, RETAINER, OR SALARY RANGE?

Full website designs are USD1960, editing / copywriting from around USD500. I'm also happy to do smaller projects at an hourly ($60-75) / project rate that's comfortable.

HOW SHOULD SOMEONE APPROACH YOU ABOUT WORKING TOGETHER?

Just head over to my site or email me for a free consultation: christina@zeonicreations.com.

HOW DO YOU STAY CREATIVE?

Walks on the beach, getting goofy with my 2 year old.
