WHAT DO YOU DO?
I have a lot of fun in my life and I absolutely adore people and their stories. I like to create breathtaking and unforgettable experiences for my friends, family, and clients. I make websites, music, and share joy wherever I go.
WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
I started teaching myself how to code for fun. It was a gradual process as I didn't initially throw all my time and energy into building websites. Over 5 years of teaching myself lead me to Puno's Squarespace course. I took all the tools and tips and tricks I had learned over those years into this class with me and was able to hone them In with her course. I also decided to stay focused on Squarespace and to stop trying to learn all the platforms. Looking back I can realize that step by step and learning piece by piece was what helped me to get to where I am. It was a slow process, but I feel that this was the way that information stuck and I was able to retain what I was learning and be able to implement the knowledge faster.
How do you stand out in your field?
The customer service I bring to the table brings all the people to the yard.
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
I am capturing video and pictures for a construction company's site and in the pre-production stages of scoring a short adventure biking film.
WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?
Vibrant, clean, functional, and whimsical.
WE ARE ALL SLASHIES WITH MULTIPLE SKILLS, WHICH ONE DO YOU WISH YOU COULD DO MORE OFTEN?
Drone video work.
WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?
Working with clients who don't have much technology / internet knowledge. It creates such a bottleneck in the pipeline and a lot of hand-holding on my end.
IF YOU COULD HIRE SOMEONE FOR $20/HR, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE THEM DO TO MAKE YOUR DAY EASIER?
Keep my house tidy and do grocery runs.
LET'S BRING OUT THE TIME MACHINE. WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU COULD HAVE TOLD YOURSELF, WHEN, AND WHY?
I wish I could have told myself at 22 that I have all the time in the world to explore and make my life full of fun and joy.
IF YOU COULD TALK TO AN EXPERT TO GAIN MORE INSIGHT ON SOMETHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE ABOUT?
UX Design.
WHAT KIND OF OPPORTUNITIES/PROJECTS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
I want to build websites for people who are open creatively and have room in their mind to see that something special can be built for them. I want to build websites for dreamers and thinkers. I want to build websites for people who have a message and a purpose and want the world to see their voice and point of view.
DESCRIBE YOUR IDEAL JOB/CLIENT/COLLABORATION.
I want to build sites that are alive. Sites that come to life the moment your eyes touch the page. I want the sites I make to be sleek and smooth like silk. Whimsy and curated. Vibrant and modest. The cleanliness of a daft punk concert with the party of LMFAO. I want the sites I make to have their own personality with fun features and Easter eggs. I want to balance the whimsy with something that feels timeless and that it was always meant to be that way. Similar to how Jony Ive, the designer from Apple said that the “When something exceeds your ability to understand how it works, it sort of becomes magical.” I want my sites to feel like someone is experiencing magic for the first time all over again. I want to make the marketplace online a more fun sense of engagement and shopping.

HOW DO YOU STAY CREATIVE?
