Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
While I did not go to university for design I have learned design on my own through curiosity, online courses, and intensive bootcamp programs. In addition to this, lots of time and practice.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
I stand out by offering a unique design service for growing brands. Design-On is an unlimited design service for small, but mighty brands. It allows them to leverage the power of professional design to increase revenue and brand engagement at a fraction of the cost and without the hassle of hiring a full-time design team and with more flexibility than the average freelancer.
Q What are you working on right now?
I am currently working on finding new ways to add further value to my clients, and redesigning my personal portfolio.
Q What’s your style?
I tend to lean toward a fun colorful design style, but this will usually depend on the project.
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I am getting more involved in brand strategy and brand identity design. It is a different but also a highly valuable part of design. This is a service our team offers for our clients as well.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
Not being able to do everything all at once.
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
Put more of your work out there and share your journey publicly. Also fail fast.
