Q What do you do?
“I am a writer. But more than that, I am a storyteller.”
I strive never to put my writing in just one box because I believe there is a story to be told in everything. From trending articles to catchy brand copy, I am willing and able to write it all. My writing is special, not just because of how it sounds but how it feels. One may argue that the detonation value of words is slim, to which I agree, but it's the connotational value where the real story begins.
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
I kept writing. I, like many others, have a degree in Journalism, but that degree can only get you so far in this field. So I write anywhere and everywhere I can, from random blurbs in my notes app to assisting in wedding hashtags.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
The angle. In an era of digital media, we are bombarded with the same stories all with similar angles and tellings. But I like to look deeper, to find the road that has yet to be explored. Is this sometimes more time-consuming? Yes, but does it result in a more compelling read with a stronger voice and POV? Yes.

Starting my journey as a freelance writer.

Finding writing jobs that actually allow me to follow my passion.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
Assist in the dauntless task that is applying for jobs.
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
I wish I could tell my 18-year-old self, who was so discouraged from her poor news reporting class feedback, that there was still a space for her in editorial.

Any form of creative writing project. I am open to projects ranging from articles to brand messaging!
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
I want clients who are visionaries. Clients who truly believe in what it is they are doing, whether it be a product or service.

$25-$30/hour depending on project details and length.
