WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
Despite going to UCLA and receiving a B.A in Psychology, I felt a strong pull to follow my passion and pursue a more creative outlet. I’ve always been hungry to create something out of nothing. Throughout highschool and college, I would revamp vintage clothing and re-sell it on etsy. This led me to begin styling and working closely with photographers.
Working with my hands has always been something that excites me, whether it be making jewelry, painting or sewing. I began to experiment with making candles, which led me to create my own eco-friendly candle brand called Jade And Juniper Goods. Being my own boss (and only employee), I am responsible for all the photography, prop styling, & social media. Developing these new skills that were at first out of necessity, now give me great joy! For the last few years I have worked for brands doing content creation, social media marketing, photography & influencer outreach.
HOW DO YOU STAND OUT IN YOUR FIELD?
I choose to only work with brands that are sustainable and pursue ethical practices. I think it’s important to keep the earth, animals, and individual’s well-being in mind when creating a product or offering a service. Working closely with brands who want to empower their workers and care about the impact they might have on the world. Sharing the same ethos as the brands I partner with is the most important factor for me. It is incredibly rewarding to support and promote brands who have a heavy focus on transparency, authenticity, sustainability, and quality.
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
I am currently creating all the content for a women-focused creative agency. This includes; Social Media Management & Photography & Styling. I am also in school learning Graphic Design.
WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?

WE ALL HAVE MULTIPLE SKILLS OR WORK IN VARIOUS INDUSTRIES, WHICH ONE DO YOU WISH YOU COULD FOCUS ON MORE?
Graphic design is definitely a skill I am planning on developing more, it is such a crucial component of a brand’s aesthetic and I am excited to add this skill to the list!
WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?
As I get older, I find that time is so precious and I don’t have the luxury of being able to experiment and try new things. There are so many activities/skills I would love to learn ( like making ceramics, or videography) but I simply don’t have enough time!
IF YOU COULD HIRE SOMEONE FOR $20/HR, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE THEM DO TO MAKE YOUR DAY EASIER?
Honestly...cook for me. I love food but I always end up eating some random thing in my fridge because I am too busy to cook some lavish pinterest meal ( so many delicious recipes on pinterest!).
LET'S BRING OUT THE TIME MACHINE. WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU COULD HAVE TOLD YOURSELF, WHEN, AND WHY?
There are no coincidences, everything happens for a reason & is there to help you grow as an individual. I used to think I had really bad luck, now in retrospect I can see how every experience I went through helped build my character and allows me to be more empathetic with others.

I am looking for a part time position in: Social Media Marketing, Content Creation, Photography, or Styling.
