I hustled, studied, assisted and shot personal work at every chance I could.

I think photography takes a mix of tenacity, kindness, business savvy and creativity. There is a lot to balance when you turn your passion into a career. I think you really have to be patient, keep at it, know who you are as an artist, and never give up.
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
I am building a new body of fashion work inspired by the South of France and working with a handful of lifestyle brands. I also have a variety of personal projects that are in the mix.
WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?
Clean, bold, evocative imagery.

I wish I could paint more. Well, I really wish I could paint better. Then I would probably paint more.

WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?
I see where I want to be as an artist and sometimes I forget to enjoy the journey…wishing I was at the final destination already. When, we all know, there is no final destination.
IF YOU COULD HIRE SOMEONE FOR $20/HR, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE THEM DO TO MAKE YOUR DAY EASIER?
List management. My accounting. Cook me dinner. And dessert.

I wish I could have told my 7 year old self that things were going to get better and that one day I would live a beautiful life in California making art for a living.

Neuroscience.

I am looking for freelance fashion/lifestyle/travel/portrait photography gigs. I am also happy to write stories alongside images. I am always interested in meeting other awesome creatives (and Non-Creatives!) and collaborating on inspiring projects.

I love having clients who hire me for what I do best and then let me do it. A great client is someone who knows what they want + need and then brings in the right person to execute their vision. I thrive on open honest communication…as well as a solid sense of humor.
