At Out Brand Them, we specialize in elevating playful e-commerce brands with expert website design,and strategic branding. At Next Wave Studios, we focus on empowering nonprofits with thoughtful design solutions like website design and branding, butalso creative direction and strategyto amplifytheir impact.
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
Networking and learning from the best of the best through webinars, Skillshare courses, SquareSpace Circle, etc. It definitely DID not happen over night.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
I stand out by focusing on strong communication and building meaningful, long-term relationships with my clients. I believe the best work happens when there’s trust and clarity, so I make it a priority to listen, stay connected, and truly understand what my clients need. It’s about creating a partnership where we can grow together, not just completing a project and moving on. my longest client partnership has been going-on for almost 5 years.
Q What are you working on right now?
Recently, our studio *just* wrapped a huge project for a new client The Roster, an e-commerce fragrance brand with a flirty personality. We did our Shopify Website-In-A-Week package for them and onboarded them for retainer email marketing and graphic design. We love working with e-commerce brands (and points if they're playful).
Q What’s your style?
Playful yet polished—that’s my style. It’s not just about looking good; it’s about delivering results. Beautiful designs are great, but designs that boost your bottom line? That’s the real magic. We just boosted our client, 4KINSHIP’s conversion to 68% in their biggest Holidayseason... ever.
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
Elevating e-commerce brands with standout Shopify websites is my happy place. But working with non-profits? That’s where creativity meets purpose—and the reward is in the impact we create together.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
Running out of space on my laptop—again. sigh The endless battle of a creative with too many ideas and not enough gigabytes.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
Managing my social media for both of my studios (hint hint – social coordinators, feel free to slide into my inbox!)
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
Start learning Adobe Effects the day you're born. It's an incredible tool, but learning it is NOT for the faint of heart.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
Honestly, I could really use some advice on managing burnout and finding a better work-life balance.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
I'm passionate about collaborating with ambitious businesses that not only have unique stories to tell but also a strong mission or vision. My goal is to transform these entities from businesses into recognizable and loved brands.

I thrive when working with clients who know their direction but need a creative partner to bring their vision to life. My ideal collaboration involves helping clients refine their ideas and execute them effectively, ensuring every design element serves their larger goals.
