5. Brand Consistency with Design Intelligence
The new Brand Identity Dashboard lets you apply fonts, colors, and layout styles across your site with one click.
6. Saved Sections
Allows you to save sections of your website and reuse them on other sites within your account. This feature helps streamline website building by saving time and effort on repetitive designs.
How to Save and Use Account-Wide Saved Sections:
Save a Section: In the page editor, hover over the section you want to save, click the heart icon, and choose "Save section to Your account".
Name the Section
Access Saved Sections: On any website within your account, go to "Add Section" and select "Saved Sections" to view and reuse your saved sections.
Key Features and Considerations:
Reusable Across Sites: Account-wide saved sections are accessible on any Squarespace site within your account where you have editing permissions.
"Snapshot" of Design: A saved section is a snapshot of the original section's content and design, but it's not dynamically linked. Changes to the original section won't update the saved version or anywhere else you've added it.
Style Inheritance: Saved sections inherit the styling of the site where they are added.
Not for Collection Pages: You cannot save sections from collection pages.
Form and Newsletter Settings: Some settings like storage connections in form and newsletter blocks won't be carried over from the original section. You'll need to set these up manually for each saved section.
8. Domain Management Upgrades
Squarespace acquired Google Domains on September 7, 2023.
Easily transfer ownership
Access better DNS tools
9. QR Code Generator
Create QR (Quick Response) codes for any Squarespace page using the QR Code Generator.
It’s not available for collection pages: blog posts or products. WTF?

General > URL Slug > QR Code
10. AI for SEO
Squarespace now offers AI-powered SEO tools that suggest improvements to your page titles and descriptions in real time.
One of the most significant changes in AI and SEO content is the increasing prevalence of zero-click searches. This refers to searches where searchers no longer need to visit a website page to get the information they need—it’s all on the search results page.
