The course is awesome! I've been a web designer for the past two years but worked mostly on other platforms with drag & drop design tools. I wanted to start working on Shopify to start my transition to working with e-commerce and when I saw this course covered how to customize Shopify & learn liquid I knew it was the right one. I enjoy how thorough the videos are and the supporting notion document. If you follow both, the course is sooo understandable and even easy. I love how Megumi explains the purpose behind changes instead of just showing us because it teaches us to problem solve instead of monkey-see, monkey-do. Today, I was setting up Klaviyo for a client on their Shopify site and I had to edit some Liquid and I wasn't scared to touch it because I knew what everything meant off of this course.
I think my favorite part of the experience is the community that comes with the course. It's so cool to see Megumi, Chelli, and Yewande so active on discord offering encouragement and engaging with us. It feels like we have support even after finishing the course. You can tell they all care and know what they're doing, even offering solutions to challenges that are outside of the course. Its awesome.
