I'm currently taking the Graphic Design Course because I've always had a personal interest in learning how to use the tools offered in the course (Figma, Illustrator and Photoshop) and because they become relevant for use in my job as a Brand Marketing Manger at Oyster Sunday.

I love how thoughtful the course material and structure are! The way the clips are broken out into super digestible pieces of content learning is a really lovely way to learn. The pacing is easy to follow, and the little details like the final page reminding me to grab some water and take a quick mental reset are *chef's kiss*. I really feel like y'all are holding my hand through it which is pretty impressive for a fully digital course.

I had self-taught myself how to use Figma and after taking that section of the course my mind was blown by how inefficiently I had been using it. I now feel like I can create better content and do it all much quicker than I could through just self-teaching. I'm also now recommending Figma as a broader tool for my company to use for our creative process because I have such a better understanding of its capabilities.

My 2 pieces of advice are (1) Even if you're not a freelancer, this course can be for you. I have a full-time job in a Marketing/Project Manager role and what I'm learning in this course is going to be helpful for me not only in my job but in my personal life as someone who likes to dabble around with graphic manipulation/creation. (2) Trust this team! They've done a really amazing job and I've learned so much already and I'm not even through the full course.
