My experience with the program didn’t end when my internship ended in July as I continued to build on my portfolio and learned how to use it explore new opportunities.

I'm so so grateful for how the program was able to connect my work as a junior designer to the feedback and eyes of industry designers! Not only was GDCCP a really encouraging safe space to meet other creatives starting out like me, but the portfolio I created from the program landed me a lot of new and exciting opportunities such as two brand design internships in Berlin and getting my work in front of design teams at Google.

In addition, I loved being able to connect with the panelists from the program like Janis and Sarah who were so gracious with their time and kind to share advice to designers starting out like me even after the program ended— For example, Sarah and I have video chatted more than 4 times since the end of the program since we met during the end-of-program Portfolio Review!
