I am a self-taught designer who already was very familiar with Squarespace before starting. Despite already knowing about Squarespace and some basic CSS, I learned SO MUCH MORE on how far you can push these templates to not look like templates.
Because I am self-taught I appreciated seeing Puno's process and other students' design process. Because of them I learned how to be a better designer. My taste is changing because I am being exposed to so much more work. The community aspect is also amazing. I actually enjoy checking the Slack channel to see what others are working on. It's not a community that you sign up for and then forget. The students really support each other!
