01a. New Client Request (need more info)
Thanks for reaching out! Congrats on the new novel!
I have a couple of questions before we chat:
Do you have any examples of websites, images, magazine layouts you admire? And/or perhaps the <product name>?
I see that <website> is a <Wordpress / Shopify / Wix > site, would you be open to making it a Squarespace site? I can discuss the pros and cons with you if that's a deal breaker.
Your current site has a lot of blog posts, will these need to be migrated over?
What do you think the content will be on the site? Do you have copy?

I'm estimating the cost would be about between $3000 - 3900. The cost varies by feedback and how much you want to take on (eg, Image Optimization).

I can start on this by ____ (pending you've paid the 50% deposit of $1500) and it'll probably take about a month to finish. 🙂
As I mentioned before, I typically charge hourly ($150/hr) in the event there are unforeseen asks, but I'm very proactive about letting you know what will take us over the estimate. The last thing I want is for you to be surprised by an invoice!
Let me know if this all sounds OK to you and I'll create a contract and send an invoice for the deposit!
