Talking about my finances seemed daunting! I was already in the debt hole and it kinda felt too late. I decided to take this course because I knew I could do better. This wasn’t my first rodeo when it came to credit debt. I knew this time around had to be different. Both instructors, Caroline and Puno are such a breath of fresh air when it came down to learning the ins and outs of the money world! In the past, when having the money talk with other financial advisors, they’d tend to give me the whole lecture in lingo I didn’t even understand, instead Caroline breaks down terms like “debt consolidation” and “retirement planning” in a way that is still so FUN and a total conversation!
The best thing this course gave me was confidence. I'm a Graphic Designer and for 5 or more years I saw 3D Design as something super hard and I felt like only exceptionally talented and dedicated people can do it, however this course showed me that there's nothing to be afraid of, on the contrary - it's supposed to be super exciting. The confidence of playing around with the materials is everything. It's not just about the tutorials, there are a bunch of tutorials out there - it's more about an amazing environment where in every detail you can see that people thought this through - somebody worked very hard to make everything work so comfortably for you. I usually lose interest quickly in self-paced courses, but surprised myself by staying on track because the content was engaging and I was excited to learn more.
