The targeted ad I received felt like it was talking directly to me. As Puno flew across my screen, in an instant I knew I was meant to sign-up. And while of course, the course is an investment, I really admired that this wasn't a $$$$$ course promising the world and more, but an actual community offering a personable experience. As a self-taught designer, I wanted to see inside what being led through a curriculum would be like. I'm glad I did.

This course has expanded my horizons of what's possible by so much!! Consistently putting in time for this class has had me grow my skillset so quickly. Puno & team made it so fun to learn and the amount of resources provided aside from the instructions is invaluable. Also being able to see others work in the Discord made me feel like I was on this journey with other people and that was so inspiring (and you get to see so many people's styles!!)

My favorite thing about the course is the community! Everyone is so kind and chill! I love the fact I can still earn cookies and receive feedback on any work. I have founded a creative studio that specializes in Squarespace Web Design! I've also made some cool internet and IRL friends from the course.

My favorite part of the course was learning a couple new tools I didn't know before that I now use all the time, along with getting 1-1 feedback multiple times that has transformed my portfolio! I also love the foundry recommendations and the mock ups... I use those all the time. I now feel pretty good about my portfolio both from my projects and the layout of the entire portfolio. I'm not embarrassed to send it!

I loved picking fonts, playing with color schemes, and drawing logos. My portfolio and my confidence are looking much more robust now. I feel good calling myself a graphic designer now, my current design work started looking better, and I have already gotten more freelance work because of it.

What I enjoyed most about the Graphic Design Course is the online community. Being able to move through the course with the kind of people that ilovecreatives attracts meant not working in a silo filled with creative doubt and perfectionism. After completing the course (and even during) I was able to show up more confidently for both myself and my clients. I came away with an even deeper grasp of a creative language I had spent so many years teaching myself. And now I feel even more equipped to broaden my capabilities.

I took the Creative Copywriting Class right when I was switching industries into more copy-focused work, and I still refer back to the written curriculum for best practices and advice. The curriculum and the live workshop worked well together—the curriculum offered thorough insight into what assignments were and then the live (but always kind and constructive) critique in the workshop really helped me become a better copywriter. I also wanted accountability to put my portfolio together and feedback once it was live, and Tasha and this class provided that. This class is wonderful, especially for anyone with some copywriting experience who really wants to launch their career. 10/10 for both creative and practical advice.

I love how incredibly thorough the course was. The results from the class all depend on how much time you're willing to commit to it. Puno does an incredible job walking you through the in's and out's of Illustrator, Figma, Photoshop, starting a design business, and more. I will definitely refer to these lessons for years to come. Also, having a community of designers at our fingertips is wonderful. Pep talks, job openings, critiques. It's a little design oasis. My confidence level has increased and I finally feel like I have an understanding of how to get the results I'm looking for. There is no fluff in this class, truly valuable skills are taught. Thank you ilovecreatives team!

I honestly love Puno and the way she delivers these lectures because they’re super casual and entertaining and so easy to follow and it makes everything so much more attainable. I love the real-life anecdotes and the words of encouragement because sometimes it can get overwhelming and it’s just really nice to have that acknowledgement. I am so grateful for the work that the T.A.s, put to answer our questions and give us meaningful feedback, it is extremely helpful to me and really changes my perception of my work and how I’m doing and also what the perspective of other people is! Espeeeecially because the T.A.s are also designers which makes the feedback super invaluable.

I LOVE this course! First, Puno's humor kept me engaged and wanting to finish each lesson. Second, I loved that we had to build a few very different websites in order to grasp Squarespace's functionalities. I already knew how to use the platform but this course helped me to understand pretty much all of the different functions I didn't even know I could use/do. Third, the content within the course is worth every single penny because we learn about the design process, freelancing, development, and creativity. It was very well paced, directly to the point yet very informative.

The course is awesome! I enjoy how thorough the videos are and the supporting notion document. If you follow both, the course is sooo understandable and even easy. I love how Megumi explains the purpose behind changes instead of just showing us because it teaches us to problem solve instead of monkey-see, monkey-do. Today, I was setting up Klaviyo for a client on their Shopify site and I had to edit some Liquid and I wasn't scared to touch it because I knew what everything meant off of this course.

I love how thoughtful the course material and structure are! The way the clips are broken out into super digestible pieces of content learning is a really lovely way to learn. The pacing is easy to follow, and the little details like the final page reminding me to grab some water and take a quick mental reset are *chef's kiss*. I really feel like y'all are holding my hand through it which is pretty impressive for a fully digital course.

This process was way more introspective than I expected. I thought I came in knowing myself and how I like to edit, only to discover I had so much more to dig and evaluate. In school, normally you wouldn't share your work in progress and only show up with the results. Revealing each step of the process was foreign and uncomfortable for me, especially with such a personal video.

I truly believe in investing in your people, especially when there are great resources like ilovecreatives. In a small organization, there isn’t always the opportunity to learn from others so ilovecreatives gave our design employees a chance to network with other likeminded professionals, learn from the class, and also be inspired. There was a noticeable improvement in the quality and thoughtfulness of her work! Not only with design, but with presentation. Everyone on the team agrees!

As simple as it might seem, just the way that the course was designed from the systematic standpoint to visually was very captivating. It feels very intimate.
A lot of what I wanted from this course was to engage with new people that I haven't been able to meet or people from different corners of the internet, or maybe even my corners that we just haven't been able to cross paths before.

As far as what I enjoyed, I really enjoyed learning a new approach to video creation. It is hard sometimes to really build off of ideas in your head into a process of it actually becoming real. This experience really allowed me to explore my own formula of the creative process and now I am able to have the confidence to really make anything I am struggling with or learning into art. I also loved meeting other creatives. I managed to form beautiful bonds with people that I did not know at first, this really felt like a second family in a weird way lol. I have so much love for all of you and it's one of those experiences that you smile about when you think about it. It was extremely tough and at one point I was having thoughts of giving up. Having a community behind me to support me and work through my problem areas really helped me in those moments. I started to understand that sometimes this is just as equally a part of the creation process as are the more triumphant, flow-like moments.

Firstly, my favorite was going to Rachel's office hours every week. She was so attentive to our questions and answered with such honesty that you felt she was really letting you into her world. I love the way she processes and sees the world and then aims to express that through her work. My second favorite part was meeting such amazing, creative, and genuine people. I've become close with many people in the class in such a short time span. We're all so different but this class brought us together in such a beautiful way. I haven't had this experience with an online course before.

My advice is to just do it. We're always in our heads self-sabotaging our own happiness. Do what you want.

My passion for creating was re-ignited. I took graphic design in college and wish I would have switched over to this major or had more opportunities to learn. Although I am learning to do this for fun I do hope one day I can gain enough tools under my tool belt and leave my 9-5 and pursue something I am passionate about. The thing I’m enjoying most is the way things are broken down for us. It’s easy/fun and easy to digest. ---I loved learning keyboard shortcuts.

The Squarespace Design Course was probably the most fun I have ever had learning. The overall design of the course was pretty to look at, Puno is a hilarious, ultra-engaging educator and the online community made it feel like I was actually sitting in a classroom with other students. - My favorite thing about graduating from the Squarespace course was feeling like I added an extra (important, moolah making) tool to my tool belt; and like I had a whole second brain filled with knowledge on design and coding.
