I honestly love Puno and the way she delivers these lectures because they’re super casual and entertaining and so easy to follow and it makes everything so much more attainable. I love the real-life anecdotes and the words of encouragement because sometimes it can get overwhelming and it’s just really nice to have that acknowledgement. I am so grateful for the work that the T.A.s, put to answer our questions and give us meaningful feedback, it is extremely helpful to me and really changes my perception of my work and how I’m doing and also what the perspective of other people is! Espeeeecially because the T.A.s are also designers which makes the feedback super invaluable.

The best thing this course gave me was confidence. I'm a Graphic Designer and for 5 or more years I saw 3D Design as something super hard and I felt like only exceptionally talented and dedicated people can do it, however this course showed me that there's nothing to be afraid of, on the contrary - it's supposed to be super exciting. The confidence of playing around with the materials is everything. It's not just about the tutorials, there are a bunch of tutorials out there - it's more about an amazing environment where in every detail you can see that people thought this through - somebody worked very hard to make everything work so comfortably for you. You can't getaway from the feeling that it's not just a course, it's a handful of super comfortable toolboxes which you can use however you prefer.

I LOVE this course! First, Puno's humor kept me engaged and wanting to finish each lesson. Second, I loved that we had to build a few very different websites in order to grasp Squarespace's functionalities. I already knew how to use the platform but this course helped me to understand pretty much all of the different functions I didn't even know I could use/do. Third, the content within the course is worth every single penny because we learn about the design process, freelancing, development, and creativity. It was very well paced, directly to the point yet very informative.

The course is awesome! I enjoy how thorough the videos are and the supporting notion document. If you follow both, the course is sooo understandable and even easy. I love how Megumi explains the purpose behind changes instead of just showing us because it teaches us to problem solve instead of monkey-see, monkey-do. Today, I was setting up Klaviyo for a client on their Shopify site and I had to edit some Liquid and I wasn't scared to touch it because I knew what everything meant off of this course.

This course suited my learning style so perfectly. It pushed me creatively while also giving me the freedom to work on the course at my own pace and pick any dream client to design for. Puno is such a fun instructor and I felt supported every step of the way by her teaching and the amazing TAs.

I took the Video Creator Course because Jenn and Rachel are two creators that I have admired for a while now. I wanted so badly to learn from them and I just knew my art would never look the same. I was right. I just learned so much about what I'm capable of. I overcame a limiting belief that told me I wasn't creative. And I proved it wrong!

I love how thoughtful the course material and structure are! The way the clips are broken out into super digestible pieces of content learning is a really lovely way to learn. The pacing is easy to follow, and the little details like the final page reminding me to grab some water and take a quick mental reset are *chef's kiss*. I really feel like y'all are holding my hand through it which is pretty impressive for a fully digital course.

Just launched my website designed and developed by Hello World Studio who I found on the ilovecreatives directory Not only was my site so custom that it didn't look anything like a Squarespace site, it actually was a Squarespace site that I could edit myself :) Thanks ilovecreatives for helping us connect!

Megumi has done such a wonderful job in lifting the veil behind how Shopify is structured with very simple explanations of how HTML, CSS, JSON, and Liquid all work together. The simplicity is truly amazing and very much appreciated!

If you love designing for e-commerce but really want to strengthen your coding muscles to transform your creativity into dope Shopify websites, this course is for you!

I took the Video Creator Course during a period of feeling super stuck creatively. I had an idea of what I wanted to say but no vision, and I felt really alone with where I was in my process. I had watched Rachel for years and I thought about taking this course for at least 6 months before taking the leap! I was ready to have some accountability and learn how to unleash some of that same creativity and power I saw reflected in Rachel's work.

My favorite thing about this course, was the Community! Starting any new hobby or creative endeavor is very intimidating, especially as a women of color. The virtual sessions whether it was 1-1 with Rachel/Jenn or the group classes made it easier to bounce ideas and get direct feedback. Being part of such a talented and creative was truly so inspiring to me. I loved how everyone's style/thought process shined through during the showcase and  how everyone interpreted the concepts in the workbook.

As a video producer at a brand, I wanted to be able to communicate more effectively with my editors and other members of the creative team. The Video Creator Course helped me more deeply understand the editing process, but the best (and unexpected!) side effect was the major improvement in my creative ideation at work and in my own personal creative endeavors.

I took the Squarespace Design Course to learn more about Squarespace features and feel more comfortable using the platform. I loved discovering my own style along the way - including a ton of (unexpected) knowledge and growth in typography, color palettes, font pairings and more. Resources section alone is a reason to sign up for this course. Plus, I was able to use all my learnings to relaunch my personal website.

The course helped in sooo many ways I didn't even realize at the time! I actually recently went full time freelance so the class's resources have been great when it comes to budgeting and client communication. I love the fact that I will still have access to all the videos and resources even now that I have completed the course! I've referenced the resources many times in the several months since completing the course. And, I loved learning the studio's process to approaching a brand identity. Everything from the brand audit to the deck design were very interesting to hear about.

I took "Finance Friends Forever" from ilovecreatives to address my student debt and lack of budgeting for my freelance endeavors. Also, it's taught in an audio format by Puno and Caroline so I was able to fit it into my busy schedule listening in the car. They use humor to teach all aspects of finance and portfolios which was a must for me. Also, it came with access to an insane amount of game-changing materials, like their workbook and several tools like the hourly rate calculator.

I was doing Squarespace websites for clients but had reached my limits of my design ability and felt restrained in the Squarespace ecosystem. I knew I needed to level up and become more polished and stretch how I thought of the platform. The creativity the course sparked in me, and how hard it pushed my design ability was my fav. thing about the course. It was truly the web design stretch I needed – exactly what I was looking for!

This process was way more introspective than I expected. I thought I came in knowing myself and how I like to edit, only to discover I had so much more to dig and evaluate. In school, normally you wouldn't share your work in progress and only show up with the results. Revealing each step of the process was foreign and uncomfortable for me, especially with such a personal video.

I truly believe in investing in your people, especially when there are great resources like ilovecreatives. In a small organization, there isn’t always the opportunity to learn from others so ilovecreatives gave our design employees a chance to network with other likeminded professionals, learn from the class, and also be inspired. There was a noticeable improvement in the quality and thoughtfulness of her work! Not only with design, but with presentation. Everyone on the team agrees!
